The ongoing Group 3 status of the Hampton Court would look fully justified based on the overall standard of the turnout this year but not so in the case of Mohaafeth, who's already looked a potentially leading middle-distance performer and did little to alter that view, only a late drift that saw him cross the runner-up providing any sort of worry; the gallop was sound, Matchless responsible for it.
