More clamour then ever to get in the Wokingham, not necessarily to the race's benefit, in danger of becoming an old boys club, over half of the field aged 6 or more, little or no chance of the younger up-and-comers getting in with a cut-off point of a mark as high as 100 this year; it says something then that it was still a couple of newer kids on the block that came to the fore, Brando by age and Outback Traveller by a career-change, and neither came from the bigger far-side group, a small band just off them making their way down the middle, while Outback Traveller was one of 9 that raced towards the stand side, no real bias at play, about as fair a race as the Wokingham can ever be, no traffic issues with the field so well spread out.
