In terms of the form achieved this is one of the lesser 2-y-o races of the week but given the trip and race conditions - confined to progeny of stallions who themselves won over 1¼m+ - there are almost certainly more late-developing types in this field who'll go on to do better in time; Frankuus set a fair pace and it was a trouble-free contest, but there's a suspicion track position played a part as, although they were in one group, those that raced furthest towards the far side all finished tired.
