A standard Norfolk, full of juveniles that had made promising starts but now had a bigger test as they took each other on, and the form looks up to scratch, backed up by a very fast time (the first 3 all broke the juvenile track record), although that point alone is nothing to get too carried away with given that the ground will rarely have been as firm as it has been on the first 3 days of Royal Ascot 2013; they raced as one group down the middle and any in-running trouble was minor.
