As usual, a set of progressive 3-y-os lined up, but none of them had even gone beyond 12f before and some were clearly suited by it more than others, even though the gallop was on the steady side, leading to a bunched finish, but the principals still matched recent standards, Mikhail Glinka up to it on previous form.
