A strong and high-class renewal, one that very much measured up to the St James's Palace later in the afternoon, the dominant Paco Boy producing the best winning performance since Intikhab all the way back in 1998 and confirming himself the best older miler after his Lockinge blip; it was a cleanly-run race for once, typical positive tactics on Gladiatorus (led field over to rail) making sure of that, the result amongst the principals looking solid.
