The 203rd year of the Gold Cup, and very much one for the history books as Yeats became its first 4-time winner, some measure of his quality and durability even though he had to produce no more than the high-class form he'd shown previously to see off the latest up-and-comer in the staying ranks, Murtagh once again getting it spot on as he fashioned a tactical edge, striking off a modest pace over 3f out as the second and third were still hemmed in.
