A race that's really taken off since granted Group 1 status in 2000 and undoubtedly the race of the meeting again this year in terms of the field it attracted beforehand, 4 Group 1 winners going to post, the first 2 in the market having posted high-class efforts already this season; the race wasn't entirely satisfactory in event, however, the steady tempo dictated by Electrocutionist leading to a sprint from 3f out, and a bunched finish rather limits the form, albeit still very smart, whilst the bare result needs treating with caution too.
