With Tuesday's King's Stand winner Takeover Target attempting a sprint double completed by his compatriot Choisir in 2003, the latest renewal of the Golden Jubilee Stakes captured the imagination of many, the Southern hemisphere challenge bolstered by Glamour Puss, whilst several other King's Stand contestants from earlier in the week also reopposed, and the reappearance of Iffraaj and return to sprinting of Amadeus Wolf provided further interest; however, for all the winner's performance is up to standard for the race, he chased home by an improved 3-y-o, not many behind gave their full running on the day; unsurprisingly, given results earlier in the week, the whole field bar Beckermet (raced alone in centre) elected to race stand side, the first 6 places going to horses who were able to race on/near to the rail.
