A well-contested handicap, the level useful, and though few were obviously well weighted they included 2 still-unexposed horses in Glistening and Thunder Rock, both of which went close while not showing their full worth, the pace only modest as Chantaco was largely ignored in front and things becoming messy for the finish, little between many at the line.
