A most disappointing turnout for this Group 2, especially once the 2 best horses were withdrawn after declaration time, the absence of Rule of Law (low-grade infection) and African Dream (ground) leaving no more than a useful field; the gallop set by Elshadi was slow, the pace only really starting to pick up from halfway.
