O'BRIEN AND MOORE TAKE TOP TRAINER AND JOCKEY TITLESPrince of Wales's Stakes 2016: A Shin Hikari stands his ground

Trained by Masanori Sakaguchi, A Shin Hikari leapt to the head of the betting for the Group 1 contest when pulverising his rivals in the Prix D’Ispahan at Chantilly last time out and his jockey Yutake Take expects the horse to come out on top in Berkshire.
Take told The Sun: "I will ride my race and let the horse do all the talking. Although A Shin Hikari has a difficult temperament I know him very well now.
"You can't fight him, you let him do what he wants. The key is for him to be relaxed as he has had a few mental issues in the past.
"He won well in Hong Kong and also in France. We kept him calm before those races.
"If we can do the same at Ascot I think the race itself will be straightforward."
Roger Charlton’s Time Test, a winner of the Brigadier Gerard at Sandown last time, will lead a strong home challenge which includes The Grey Gatsby, who was an unlucky loser in this race last year.
Charlie Appleby’s progressive Tryster, John Gosden’s Western Hymn, Clive Cox’s My Dream Boat and Hugo Palmer’s Covert Love complete the domestic line-up, though the latter will only take part if the ground is deemed suitable.
Palmer explained: "The plan is very much to go to the Prince of Wales's on Wednesday.
"We had a discussion with the syndicate of owners and there was a feeling maybe she could go a mile and a half. She has been beaten twice over that trip but when it was soft ground. If the ground is softer than good she won't run in the Prince of Wales's.
"She's in very good heart for her first run of the year and it will be the first time she's taken on the boys since winning her maiden last year."
Aidan O’Brien provides a similarly powerful Irish team, consisting of Coronation Cup runner-up Found and the globe-trotting Highland Reel.
