O'BRIEN AND MOORE TAKE TOP TRAINER AND JOCKEY TITLESLimato heads 19 declared for Diamond Jubilee Stakes

Last year’s July Cup and Prix de la Foret winner Limato has been declared for Saturday’s Diamond Jubilee Stakes. Henry Candy’s five-year-old was last seen when disappointing in the Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan in March, won by the French raider The Right Man (Didier Guillemin). That race was run on rain-softened ground, which didn’t suit Limato, but conditions should be right up his street on Saturday.
The Tin Man (James Fanshawe) won the Champion Sprint over the Diamond Jubilee trip last year and is expected to come on for his reappearance at York last month. He is another who will be suited by likely fast ground.
The William Haggas-trained Tasleet had the The Tin Man, Magical Memory (Charles Hills), Comicas (John Gosden), Mobsta (Mick Channon), Tupi (Richard Hannon), Growl (Richard Fahey) and Suedois (David O’Meara) in behind when winning the Duke of York last time and he is bidding to confirm that form.
Librisa Breeze (Dean Ivory) has a great record at Ascot and he is set to make his reappearance.
Aclaim (Martyn Meade), who has always been well thought of, is dropping back in trip after disappointing in the Lockinge last time, while Dancing Star (Andrew Balding) got back on track in a listed race at Windsor last month.
American sprinter Long On Value (William I. Mott), Kachy (Tom Dascombe), Windfast (Brian Meehan), Al Jazi (Francois Rohaut), Kassia (Mick Channon) and Finsbury Square (Fabrice Chappet) complete the field.
