The five-year-old has suffered an injury hit career so far, making just two appearances in 2016, but produced a career-best when winning the Dubai Sheema Classic on return at Meydan in March, and is a 3/1 joint-second favourite to make it two Group 1 wins on the spin here.
The current 5/2 favourite for the race is Highland Reel, who won a fifth race at the highest level when scoring in the Coronation Cup at Epsom in game fashion at Epsom last month. Also prominent in the market is 3/1 shot Ulysses, who will be looking to build on a comprehensive win in the Gordon Richards Stakes at Sandown in April.
Next in the field are Decorated Knight and Mekhtaal, who both won Group 1 contests on their most recent start and last year's Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf scorer Queen's Trust, who will need to bounce back from a disappointing reappearance in the Middleton Stakes at York last month.
The nine-strong line-up is completed by the Godolphin runner Scottish, Highland Reel's team-mate Johannes Vermeer and Nezwaah, who is the likely mount of Silvestre De Sousa.
