O'BRIEN AND MOORE TAKE TOP TRAINER AND JOCKEY TITLESCoronation Stakes 2016: Nemoralia on target for big prize

One of the top juveniles last season, Nemoralia won a Doncaster nursery, before twice finishing placed in America, on her final start finishing an unlucky-in-running third in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf at Santa Anita.
However, Jeremy Noseda’s charge enjoyed a much clearer run in the Michael Seely Memorial on the Knavesmire, quickening clear to win impressively under Frankie Dettori.
Noseda explained: “I didn't come here just expecting to win, I hoped she would win in the matter I thought she would.
"We didn't want to get involved in the Guineas. This was the stepping stone to Ascot.
"She should have won the Breeders' Cup," he said. "She really should have won. Nothing went right. It poured down with rain, there was no pace in the race, we got too far back.
"We sent her down to Florida afterwards as she'd had a long campaign and we thought she'd enjoy a break and some better weather. I decided I wasn't going to try and get her ready for a Guineas. I didn't want to be taking on Minding.
"To be honest, I've been absolutely thrilled with her progress in the last couple of months. I'm just delighted now. Satisfied. She'll get better from this. Look, it's a stepping stone, so let's just keep our fingers crossed."
Charlie Pigram, spokesman for Nemoralia’s enthusiastic syndicate of owners, wants an Ascot – Breeders’ Cup double.
“She has improved so much from last year,” Pigram said. “We are living the dream, we have come from nowhere and we are up there with the big boys.
“We want the Breeders’ Cup. We have unfinished business there.
“We will go to the Coronation Stakes next at Royal Ascot and see how we go before going on to win the Breeders’ Cup.”
Coronation Stakes - Betfair Betting: 9/4 Ballydoyle, 3/1 Nemoralia, 6/1 Qemah, 13/2 La Cressonniere, 8/1 Nathra, 10/1 bar
