O'BRIEN AND MOORE TAKE TOP TRAINER AND JOCKEY TITLESBell hit with a big blow as Main Desire will miss Royal Ascot

Michael Bell’s unbeaten filly, who was a general 11/2 second favourite for the Queen Mary, is set to miss Royal Ascot following a setback.
"She's temporarily out of action," explained Bell. "It only happened this morning, so I can't say when she'll be back."
"It's crazy to speculate at this stage, but what I can say for certain is that she won't be running on Wednesday week.
"It's frustrating," added Bell, "but life goes on."
Main Desire was last seen winning a listed race at York last month, where she again impressed with the manner in which she travelled and picked up on just her second start. She holds an entry in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh which is run over six furlongs and, though she has shown plenty of speed in both her starts so far, her pedigree suggests she’ll stay the extra furlong.
Michael Bell won the Golden Jubilee Stakes with Art Connoisseur in 2009 and is bidding for another Group 1 success at Royal Ascot this year with his stable star Big Orange in the Gold Cup.
