Smart Stat: 32% - Laura Morgan's strike rate in mid-season

Laura Morgan typically fares very well at this stage of the season and will be hoping to enhance her impressive strike-rate with Here We Have It who did well to win over this course and distance when last seen in December. Here We Have It was going well but met with interference and was shuffled back leaving the back straight. That left him with plenty to do turning in, but he stayed on strongly to get the verdict.

Book Of Secrets - 15:10 Southwell

Smart Stat: 25% - Harry Skelton's strike rate at Southwell

Harry Skelton tends to operate at a strike rate around the 22% mark but that increases to 25% at Southwell and he has a couple of rides on this evening's card, starting with Book of Secrets in the two-mile maiden hurdle. Book of Secrets, a fair performer on the Flat, made a promising start over hurdles when runner-up at Bangor and possibly found the race coming too soon when disappointing at Leicester. He hasn't been seen that effort in November 2021 but runners from Dan Skelton's yard are rarely short on fitness.

Big Jimbo - 20:30 Kempton

Smart Stat: £78.34 - Gary Moore's profit to a £1 level stake when having one runner at a Flat meeting

Gary Moore posts an excellent level-stake profit when sending only one runner to a meeting and he relies on Big Jimbo at Kempton this evening. Big Jimbo showed he retains his ability when third here last month on his first start since March 2021, and he stepped up on that to score here last week. He's relatively lightly raced for his age so there could be a bit more to come.
