Lady Loulou cost €340,000 as a yearling but is yet to better just fair form in four starts so far, but she has the potential to improve now handicapping and moving up further in trip. She was strong in the betting when narrowly beaten at Chelmsford 12 days ago, running on well at the finish but just unable to reel in the all-the-way winner. Cheekpieces are replaced by blinkers now and, while she is unlikely to live up to her lofty price tag, she is up to winning a race of this nature. 

Tiger Crusade - 14:10 Southwell

Smart Stat: 25% - Daniel Muscutt's strike rate at SOUTHWELL

Tiger Crusade struggled for consistency last year but he took advantage of a reduced mark when winning with a fair bit in hand over course and distance a fortnight ago and a subsequent 3 lb rise is perfectly fair. He appeared to relish the return to seven furlongs, always travelling well before being produced to lead in the final furlong and keeping on well. This looks a competitive race, but he is unexposed on tapeta and this should be run to suit. 

Stanley Stanley - 15:40 Wetherby

Smart Stat: £14.58 - Venetia Williams's profit to a £1 level stake with chasers off for over a year

Stanley Stanley was going the right way over hurdles for Paul Nicholls when last seen 18 months ago, not all out to defy a mark 5 lb lower than this one over a similar trip at Newton Abbot. She is immediately sent over fences by Venetia Williams, which is very interesting given how well the yard do with such types, and fitness shouldn't be an issue, either. This doesn't look the deepest race and she looks very interesting.
