Enforced was too green to do himself justice on his sole start last season but has shown improved form following a gelding operation this year, proving more professional as he wore down the leader to open his account in a minor event at Brighton last month. The runner-up won next time out to boost the form and, though an opening mark of 85 is by no means a gift, he is the type to go on improving now entering handicaps. 

I Am The Sea - 18:15 Leicester

Smart Stat: 25% - William Haggas's strike rate with horses running over 10f+ 

I Am The Sea is bred to be smart and he has improved in each of his three starts, showing a lot more on his qualifying run in a hot race at Nottingham last month. That race is working out well, the winner scoring at Royal Ascot on his next start, and I Am The Sea is bred to relish this step up in trip now handicapping. He has been handed a lenient opening mark and he has a big chance of opening his account in a race which is lacking depth. 

Insolente - 18:30 Hamilton

Smart Stat: 21% - Kevin Ryan's strike rate at HAMILTON PARK since the start of the 2018 season

This doesn't look the strongest race of its type and Insolente is fancied to open her account. She has looked in need of the experience so far, showing more than previously when runner-up at Carlisle last time, but there was still an air of greenness about her. That race is working out well, with both the winner and the third scoring next time, and a similar performance should be enough to get her head in front in this race.
