Unforgetable - 15:15 Doncaster
Smart Stat: £39.50 - Joseph Patrick O'Brien's profit to a £1 level stake when having one runner at a flat meeting
Unforgetable coped well with both the step up in trip and grade when second in a Group 3 at Leopardstown last time, running at least as well in defeat as when winning the time before. That form puts her right in the mix in the context of this race, with the prospect of even more to come after only three starts, and she really should be winning here if she is going to take up some of her other Group entries later in the year (including the Rockfel and Cheveley Park), representing the Joseph O'Brien yard that invariably collects when sending only one runner to a meeting.
Cloak of Spirits - 15:45 Doncaster
Smart Stat: 25% - Andrea Atzeni's strike rate at DONCASTER
The list of high-profile winners ridden by Andrea Atzeni at Doncaster in recent years is an illustrious one, and it would be no surprise if he added a first win in this race to his tally when the promising Cloak of Spirits lines up this afternoon. Admittedly, this is a big step up from the minor event that she won at Ascot in July, but she could hardly have been more impressive on that occasion, winning by three and a half lengths with a bit in hand, and the strength of that form (third and sixth have both won since) marks her out as one who should prove capable of making her presence felt in pattern company, potentially a player for the classics in 2020.
Restless Rose - 17:05 Epsom
Smart Stat: 2 - Stuart Williams's number of winners in past 4 runnings
Restless Rose shaped better than the bare result when second on her most recent outing at Chelmsford, simply unable to quicken in the closing stages after taking a strong hold through the first half of the race, doing well under the circumstances to be beaten just a neck. She certainly showed to enough to suggest that she is up to winning from her current mark, and there is no reason why she shouldn't give another good account in a race that trainer Stuart Williams has targeted to good effect in recent years (won back-to-back renewals in 2014 and 2015), especially if settling better in the early stages.
