Brewin'Upastorm proved better than ever when back over hurdles at Taunton last month, drawing clear from two out to defy a BHA mark of 148 in ready fashion. That was a smart performance which makes him very much the one to beat on these terms, with chief market rival McFabulous having to concede him 6 lb. Brewin'Upastorm is fancied to make that count and can take the step back up in grade in his stride to follow up for the Olly Murphy yard that is worth following when sending only one runner to a meeting.

Brewers Project opened his account over hurdles at Wincanton in December and then produced an even better effort in defeat when second under a penalty at Chepstow last time. He ultimately proved no match for Grumpy Charley at Chepstow, but that was no disgrace given that the winner has since shown useful form to win again on his next start. There doesn't look to be anything of that calibre in opposition here, so Brewers Project rates a sound bet to resume winning ways for Harry Cobden - who has enjoyed plenty of success at Fontwell in recent seasons - and Paul Nicholls.

Egality Mans - 16:00 Naas

Smart Stat: 2 - Willie Mullins' number of winners in past 10 runnings

Egality Mans showed plenty of ability when second on his hurdling debut at Limerick in December 2019, travelling strongly at the head of affairs and sticking to his task well after being headed before the last to be beaten only two lengths. Admittedly, he clearly hasn't been the easiest to train since then having spent 14 months on the sidelines. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that a repeat of that form would set a tall standard here, while he may yet have even more to offer for the Willie Mullins yard that is seeking a third win in this race since 2011.
