Skytree is bred to be useful and showed improved form to open her account at the fourth attempt over a similar trip at Thirsk in May. That came on heavy ground, so the ease in the ground here won't be a problem, and she will remain of interest now handicapping. She dictated matters on that occasion and had a bit up her sleeve, so an opening mark of 75 doesn't look excessive.

Cheshire Plain hasn't shown much in maiden/minor events in three starts, but she represents a top yard and it wouldn't be a surprise if she showed improved form now handicapping from a basement mark. Admittedly, she looks limited at present, but this is the least competitive race she will have contested, and she could be worth chancing for a yard that do well with handicap debutants.
Smart Stat: 24% - Silvestre De Sousa's strike rate at WINDSOR
Mafia Power hasn't won for a year, but his mark is edging down and he ran well when second to a less-exposed type at Newbury last time. He was given a positive ride on that occasion, tactics which are seen to good effect round here, and for all he was no match for the winner, he still pulled clear of the remainder. Silvestre De Sousa rides this track well and Mafia Power's turn could be near.
