Blue Missile was well found in the market for her debut at Newmarket last season and, though she only beat one rival home, she displayed plenty of ability and was noticeably carrying condition, leaving the impression in the closing stages that the run was needed. She was much improved when opening her account five months later at Lingfield, travelling powerfully upped to a mile and looking a good prospect. The step up further in trip should bring about more improvement and she is well worth her place in this company for a yard that has a good record at this course. 

Dream Composer - 16:45 Goodwood

Smart Stat: 21% - James Evans's strike rate with sprinters 

Dream Composer can boast a very good record at this course and he produced a career-best effort when scoring over course and distance three weeks ago, proving one and a quarter lengths too strong for the reopposing Angle Land. He was ridden with plenty of confidence, making good headway to lead entering the final furlong and just pushed out to score in comfortable fashion. Dream Composer is in the form of his life at present, has won his last three starts at this trip, and seems sure to launch another bold following a 4 lb rise in the weights. 

Different Tone - 20:25 Pontefract

Smart Stat: 15% - Ed Walker's strike rate with handicap debutants

Different Tone is bred to be useful and he showed ability in three relatively quick starts at up to a mile towards the back end of last season. He has seemingly been brought along with handicaps in mind and has been gelded since last seen. There is plenty of stamina in his pedigree, so he has the potential to take a big step forward now moving up in trip, and he is very much the type to develop into a better three-year-old.
