#7 Dew West – Bunbury R4 (07:50 GMT)
Dew West showed impressive speed to get off the mark at the third time of asking at this venue last month and, though this is a stiffer task, he looks up to the challenge, so gets the vote to follow up. Cockyjoy made a terrific start to her career when winning on debut at the end of last year and can give the selection plenty to think about, while Wakan Tanka should also be poised to run a big race following his two recent trials.
#3 Arcadia King – Bunbury R5 (08:20 GMT)
Arcadia King was well supported on his debut at Pinjarra on New Year’s Day and, though he was ultimately disappointing, he finished well enough to suggest that he will be winning races sooner rather than later. He should strip fitter for that outing and, with the step up in trip expected to eke out further progress, he gets the nod ahead of Contentional and Apparition.
#3 He’s A Gunslinger – Bunbury R7 (09:35 GMT)
He’s A Gunslinger didn’t have the best of luck in-running when fifth at Ascot earlier this month, but ran well nonetheless and rates highly off the back of that. He won a higher grade race than this last month and should be well up to regaining the winning thread now returned to calmer waters. Nice Go finished strongly at this venue at the end of last year and another bold showing is expected, while Blaiszen Cazah can claim the minor prize money.
