#2 Cassy’s Sister – Tamworth R6 (05:15 GMT)
Cassy’s Sister ran out a three and three quarter length winner at Coonamble on her penultimate start and, though not able to reach those heights next time out, was not disgraced when finishing two-lengths back at Hawkesbury. She looks the top pick in this race and is fancied to get the better of Red Liberty, whose recent trial win suggests a bold showing may be on the horizon. Samphire Hoe arrives here in search of a hat-trick and is also worth a second look.
#3 Dubai Tycoon – Tamworth R7 (05:50 GMT)
Dubai Tycoon arrives here in consistent form following three consecutive third place finishes and looks a definite winning hope on his first run for Brett Cavanough. He is back over his preferred trip and looks a little better than the rest of these. Arleta rarely runs a bad race in this sort of company and can have her say in proceedings, while Pamela is another honest mare to be wary of after a lengthy break.
#9 Ultimate Quest – Tamworth R8 (06:30 GMT)
Ultimate Quest has some impressive recent form in the context of this race, none more so than her comfortable win over this trip at Quirindi recently, and should run well again here despite a high draw. Onemorechoice hasn’t been far away in recent months and looks to pose the biggest threat now stepped up in trip.
