#1 Catalyst – Flemington R5 (03:50 GMT)
In a race that looks to be a straight shoot-out between Catalyst and Alligator Blood, it is the former who gets the vote. Clayton Chipperfield’s unbeaten colt is making his Australian racing debut after beating all before him in New Zealand, and can find the requisite improvement to confirm himself a superstar in the making. Alligator Blood has been outstanding this campaign however, and will ensure the selection doesn’t have things all his own way.
#9 Katalin – Flemington R8 (05:50 GMT)
Katalin ran out a dominant winner in both her career starts to date and looks more than capable of cutting it in this class. She is a talented filly open to further improvement and is taken to land her first race in Group company, with Sandown Guineas winner Pretty Brazen looking the pick for second. Fascino also brings some impressive form to the table and is another worth looking out for where places are concerned.
#5 Blazejowski – Flemington R9 (06:30 GMT)
Blazejowski looked back to his best when making a winning return at this track last month. There should be more to come from him and, with an ideal trip through the race expected, he looks more than capable of following up here. Rox The Castle likes to make all and will keep the selection true, while Streets Of Avalon can win the battle for third.
