Dev Of Tara didn't offer much on his handicap debut and first start for Olly Murphy at Uttoxeter in October but, fitted with cheekpieces and back up in trip, he showed improved form to get off the mark at Fakenham last Thursday. Dev of Tara made smooth headway and was soon firmly in command after being produced to lead on the approach to the last. He is obviously well treated off the same mark here - he didn't pick up a penalty as that was a conditional riders' handicap - and will take all the beating here.

Elegant Ellen was well backed over this course and distance last time and justified that support with an authoritative two-and-a-half-length success to get off the mark. Elegant Ellen hasn't had many attempts over seven furlongs but she saw things out well last time, highlighting her effectiveness at the distance. That was her best effort since joining Amy Murphy and she holds solid claims based on that form.
