White Caviar progressed well last season, getting off the mark in a strong maiden at Listowel on her third outing and then taking another step forward to score at Gowran Park on her handicap debut. Those victories were achieved over a mile and a half but White Caviar, who proved strong at the finish and is a sister to St Leger winner Galileo Chrome, left the impression that she would be better off over a longer trip. She stayed well when third on her return in a listed race over a mile and three-quarters on her reappearance at Gowran Park last month, again impressing with her strength in the finish, and she remains capable of better as she steps back into handicap company on a fair mark.

Haizoom is on a losing run of 11 that stretches back to May of last year but she has dropped to her last winning mark and arrives on the back of a solid third at Hamilton last month. She won on her only previous start over this course and distance in 2021, highlighting her effectiveness at this undulating track, and she is of obvious interest on her first start for the in-form Charlie Johnston (was previously trained by Keith Dalgleish).
