Meetingofthewaters is a point winner who built on the promise of his Rules debut when winning a bumper at Downpatrick in May, proving strong at the finish, and he made a promising start over hurdles when finishing third at Ballinrobe later that month. That was a fair maiden and the runner-up has boosted the form since by winning next time, and he should prove hard to beat here with improvement forthcoming.

One For Billy is now a 10-year-old, but he is showing no signs of slowing down, travelling and jumping well when resuming winning ways at Huntingdon in May, and that form is working out well with the runner-up and the fourth both winning next time.
