Warrior Brave made an impressive start for Mick Appleby at Wolverhampton in November, winning a novice by three and a half lengths after showing a nice turn of foot under Ali Rawlinson. He was a beaten odds-on favourite at Wolverhampton last month but he ran well to finish second to another progressive sort, and he remains with potential to do better for this yard.

Power Over Me has made an excellent start since joining Robyn Brisland from Johnny Murtagh, winning both starts, including over course and distance three days ago. Power Over Me did well to win on that occasion as he was awkward leaving the stalls and was held up in a steadily-run race as a consequence, but he made good headway in the straight and stayed on well to score by three quarters of a length with a bit in hand. He carries a penalty here but still looks to be on a fair mark and could have a bit more to offer for this yard.
