Iron Bridge made a winning debut in a bumper when trained by Damian Murphy and looked a good prospect when winning both of his starts over hurdles last season. He was strong in the betting on his return and maintained his unbeaten record when making a winning start over fences at Carlisle at the end of October, as has been the case in all of his runs, never stronger than at the finish. Therefore he should relish this step up in trip and is fully expected to launch another bold bid.

Sunstone is from a good family and is well worth another chance after not getting any run on her handicap debut over course and distance three weeks ago. She was well supported that day but she wasn't given a hard time after meeting trouble, but she looks to have been well placed here back in novice company, and she is well up to winning a race of this nature.
