continues to thrive and completed a 4-timer stepping out of handicap company, typically finding plenty for pressure despite racing with the choke out for the first half of the race; helped force pace, raced freely, went on over 2f out, tackled over 1f out, asserted final 1f, responded well; there aren't too many handicaps left for him now and sticking to listed and minor pattern races looks the way to go, either kept to this trip or back down at 5f.

underlined his positive start for this stable, albeit beaten a fair bit further by the winner than when meeting him on more favourable terms in a handicap at the Ebor meeting; mid-division, ridden over 2f out, switched approaching final 1f, took third final 100 yds, never a threat.

All 9 ran.

Winning Owner: Doug Graham & Ian Davison

Time: 1m 10.1s Closing Sectional: (3.00f): 35.15s (99.7%)

The winner stood out judged on his very smart recent handicap form and ran to that kind of level to justify favouritism, only briefly looking in danger having helped force a sound pace.

DAKOTA GOLD continues to thrive and completed a 4-timer stepping out of handicap company, typically finding plenty for pressure despite racing with the choke out for the first half of the race; helped force pace, raced freely, went on over 2f out, tackled over 1f out, asserted final 1f, responded well; there aren't too many handicaps left for him now and sticking to listed and minor pattern races looks the way to go, either kept to this trip or back down at 5f.

DANZENO ran creditably and was just beaten by a better one; chased leader, threatened over 1f out, kept on.

MARNIE JAMES underlined his positive start for this stable, albeit beaten a fair bit further by the winner than when meeting him on more favourable terms in a handicap at the Ebor meeting; mid-division, ridden over 2f out, switched approaching final 1f, took third final 100 yds, never a threat.

PERFECTION wasn't disgraced, under a penalty in a better listed race than the one she won last time; in touch, effort under 2f out, threatened over 1f out, no extra final 1f.

ROCK ON BAILEYS probably remains in form; bumped start, mid-division, not clear run over 2f out, headway over 1f out, never a threat.

STAY CLASSY (IRE) was out of depth; slowly into stride, carried head awkwardly, always behind.

YOLO AGAIN (IRE) faced a stiff task; in touch, lost place from halfway.

PRINCES DES SABLES was well held, paying for trying to serve it up to the winner; helped force pace, weakened over 1f out.

RED BALLOONS ran even worse; always behind.
