was the only 3-y-o in the field and deservedly resumed winning ways in a race not as fiercely competitive as some he's contested with credit this year, seeing things out well and again suggesting that the return to 7f is an option for him looking forward; prominent, led final 1f, kept going well; still not had that much racing and will continue to give good account.

ran well with the hood added to the blinkers at a track she goes well at, bouncing back from a couple of lesser efforts and only finding another smart sort too good; in touch, travelled well, headway over 1f out, stayed on; should remain competitive.

ran well back at listed level after 6 weeks off, at least matching the form of his recent conditions race success, but he got to the lead easily enough and this grade looks his limit judging by his struggles in Group company earlier in the year; led, headed final 1f, not quicken, well positioned.

was twice a listed winner in 2013 and fared better than previously this year, but perhaps just needed this return from a 9-week mid-summer break, so next run should reveal more; close up, weakened final 1f.

back up in trip after 8 days off, didn't give it as good a go as he had when making his debut in listed company last time; mid-field, made little impression.

who won this race last year, disappointed after 6 weeks off given that she'd seemed to have worked her way into form this year, though a strongly-run race suits her style best; held up, never a threat.

is well known as quirky but shaped well last time and is best not judged on this run, this small-field scenario simply not playing to his strengths; dwelt, in rear, made little impression.

A listed event which threw up a worthy winner and the second is a good sort at this level too, but there wasn't as much depth further back as in the races Naadirr had been performing well in during the summer, so this was a good opportunity as it turned out; the pace wasn't that strong with nothing held up making an impact.
