is clearly thriving and improved further to follow up with plenty in hand, proving better suited to the way this developed than most but that's no reason to crab him, his overall profile this year most encouraging; prominent, pushed along 2f out, led over 1f out, kept on well, had plenty in hand, well positioned; will continue to give a good account.

needs luck the way he's ridden and shaped better than the bare result back in a tongue strap and back up in trip; held up, pushed along 2f out, not clear run over 1f out, forced to switch final 1f, kept on, nearest at the finish, would have benefited from a stronger gallop.

without the headgear this time, has joined a yard that does well with new recruits but was easy to back and it's fair to assume she needed the run on first outing since leaving David Elsworth after 16 months off; mid-field, raced freely, weakened over 1f out; down to a handy mark if new yard can rejuvenate her.

finished closer this time but had little chance from her position and is coming down the weights all the time; held up, pulled hard, pushed along over 1f out, kept on late on, not unduly punished, left poorly placed; worth noting when market speaks in favour.

A competitive handicap on paper but there was no pace on, the thriving 3-y-o winner well positioned and proving more tractable than many, notably the favourite who pulled his chance away on the front end, while the hold-up horses never stood a chance.

AUSSIE BANKER is clearly thriving and improved further to follow up with plenty in hand, proving better suited to the way this developed than most but that's no reason to crab him, his overall profile this year most encouraging; prominent, pushed along 2f out, led over 1f out, kept on well, had plenty in hand, well positioned; will continue to give a good account.

BABY STEPS back in headgear, ran creditably back down in trip, proving no match for less-exposed winner; in touch, challenged over 1f out, kept on.
