whose form last time is proving strong, improved a bit further to follow up on handicap debut; prominent, not quicken over 2f out, edged left but stayed on to lead near line, having a bit in hand in the end; this was a good opening but his profile is positive and he can't go up much for the win.

back under regular claimer, had a good position and ran well, bumping into a progressive one; dictated, headed over 2f out, not quicken entering straight, kept on.

ran at least as well in defeat as when winning the time before, an enterprising ride from Hollie Doyle looking to have paid off at one point; in touch, travelled well, rapid headway out wide 3f out, led over 2f out, headed near line, no extra.

failed to improve straight away for the step up in trip/switch to handicaps, though in fairness this barely represented any more of a test than she's had previously; in touch, outpaced 4f out, hung left over 1f out, plugged on.

fared little better after just 5 days off (2 lb out of the weights), still keen even in a first-time hood/with a fully-fledged rider back on, though these small-field affairs are probably doing him no favours either; awkward leaving stalls, held up, not settle fully, ridden over 2f out, made no impression.

An interesting race to watch, Hollie Doyle attempting to pinch it on the turn with a big move into the lead off a very steady gallop, though ultimately the favourite's class edge told.

CASTLEBAR (IRE) whose form last time is proving strong, improved a bit further to follow up on handicap debut; prominent, not quicken over 2f out, edged left but stayed on to lead near line, having a bit in hand in the end; this was a good opening but his profile is positive and he can't go up much for the win.
