had changed hands since last seen 8 weeks ago, but this suggests he's still very useful on his day, this pretty much as well as he's ever run, and doing it quite readily in the end; in touch, driven home turn, stayed on to lead entering final 100 yds, had bit in hand; he's not been the most consistent, and it's easy to pick holes in this, so it remains to be seen if he's able to back this up.

hadn't been seen to best effect last time and wasted no time getting back on track; chased leader, ridden over 2f out, led early in straight, headed entering final 100 yds.

had something to find on these terms and evidently remains in good form, doing all that could be expected of him under the circumstances; held up, pushed along over 2f out, kept on.

looked to hold leading claims at these weights, meeting the second and third on much better terms than in handicap company last time but wasn't in the same form, far too free, his rider likely to have been better off allowing him to stride on; led, refused to settle, headed early in straight, carried head awkwardly, weakened final 100 yds.

Winning Owner: Tick Tock Partnership

Overrounds: Industry SP 109%, Betfair SP 100.3%

All of these are useful on their day, but it's a poor turnout given the money on offer and it's hardly the most robust piece of form even if it makes plenty sense, Calling Out returning to form to get the better of a couple who have been going well in handicaps with Our Channel dropping out in disappointing fashion.

CALLING OUT (FR) had changed hands since last seen 8 weeks ago, but this suggests he's still very useful on his day, this pretty much as well as he's ever run, and doing it quite readily in the end; in touch, driven home turn, stayed on to lead entering final 100 yds, had bit in hand; he's not been the most consistent, and it's easy to pick holes in this, so it remains to be seen if he's able to back this up.
