All 16 ran.

Winning Owner: Mr Colin Joseph

Time: 1m 10.8s Closing Sectional: (3.38f): 40.10s (98.6%)

A cracking renewal of this series final, staged a few weeks earlier than previously, the form having a really solid look to it, even if the end-to-end gallop favoured those coming from off the pace, the third deserving extra credit as a result; the 3 widest drawn runners raced alone towards the far side and were disadvaantaged from halfway, seemingly.

SHOW STEALER wasted no time getting back to form, picking the right race to get back to her best in, having slipped back to her last winning mark, the race set up ideally for her; in rear, hung left, headway approaching halfway, ridden 2f out, led inside final 1f, kept on well, driven out.

OPEN WIDE (USA) had another race set up for him, but is in tremendous heart at present and built on even the form of his last 2 good efforts; steadied at the start, held up, travelled well, good headway after 2f out, ridden over 1f out, kept on well final 1f, just failed.

BELATED BREATH produced a career best again, really thriving this year, ridden much more prominently than the other 3 to make the frame and surely deserving extra credit as a result; led, pushed along halfway, headed over 2f out, rallied final 1f, stayed on.

SECOND COLLECTION ran creditably, another well served by the way the race developed; in rear, effort 2f out, good headway over 1f out, challenged well inside final 1f, kept on.

EMBOUR (IRE) is running consistently well this another cracking effort, particularly given he perhaps did a shade too much mid-race back at 6f; in touch, not settle fully, headway after 2f, led over 2f out, headed inside final 1f, faded late on.

EQUITATION remains in good form, just not able to show it fully, isolated from the main body of the field; raced far side, patiently ridden, travelled well, led group 2f out, kept on, never on terms with stand side.

BLUE DE VEGA (GER) wasn't disgraced, raced mainly at 5f these days and perhaps finding that his optimum trip, not finishing this so well as he might have done; steadied at the start, in touch, travelled better than most, headway halfway, shaken up 2f out, challenged over 1f out, weakened well inside final 1f.

DARK SHADOW (IRE) was below form, this the most competitive race he's contested this year; in touch, labouring over 2f out.

MOLLS MEMORY strong in the betting, looked to have plenty going for her, off 6 weeks since her qualifying run, but she wasn't in the same form as last time, perhaps ill at ease on firmer ground, connections offering that view to the stewards; prominent, not settle fully, shaken up 2f out, hung left, not quicken, faded final 1f.

SHAMSHON (IRE) had his work cut out under a penalty after just 2 days off and wasn't in the same form as last time; held up, ridden over 2f out, made little impression.

FREE LOVE wasn't in the same form as last time, this a much more competitive contest; in touch, ridden halfway, not quicken 2f out, weakened final 1f.

SUNSPRITE (IRE) was below form, on his toes beforehand and perhaps just not himself as a result, his profile this year otherwise positive; prominent, lost place after 2f, ridden over 2f out, hung right, made no impression.

MOONRAKER back up in trip, was well held, in a tougher race than the last twice; steadied at the start, held up, not settle fully, ridden over 2f out, made no impression.

ROYAL BIRTH just wasn't in the same form as last time, being on probably the wrong part of the track not helping his cause; raced far side, chased leader, weakened over 1f out.

STREET PARADE had a second off-day in a row, even allowing for racing on the probably the wrong part of the track; raced far side, led group, headed 2f out, weakened.

ICE AGE (IRE) ran poorly, his form all over the place at present; prominent, ridden before halfway, weakened 2f out.
