put a bit extra on top of this year's seconds, though he'd come up against Copper Knight at Chester, handling that track well enough but now 2 from 2 at Windsor, also benefiting from acting before the runner-up, leading 1f out and affording to edge left for driving.

only at the start of his upward curve, beaten favourite but having a job on with the hardened winner over this trip, new to Yalawin, part of the reason he conceded first run, hitting top gear just as the line came.

did more than at York to support his big reappearance, and it may just be that his new mark is beyond him, in pole position here, dominating a small field, headed 1f out.

still unreasonably handicapped for now, but dropping to 5f wasn't for her, wide and never really with the others until closing in late; she's only 4 races into her career, the promise of her latter 2-y-o start (at listed level) not forgotten yet.

may be more at home over 6f nowadays, suggesting as much since returning to turf, getting more involved here than at Chester but lacking the finishing speed of a few.

had hitherto raced only on AW, in the progressive zone in a fortnight in January (back-to-back wins) but not seen since, easy to back and certainly going as if needing it, folding over 1f out; his previous progress and promise is what matters most.

On the thin side for a 3-y-o handicap of this grade and value, and the improvement that came out of it was minimal, the winner getting first run on the second, though there was little between all of them over 1f out.

EVERGATE put a bit extra on top of this year's seconds, though he'd come up against Copper Knight at Chester, handling that track well enough but now 2 from 2 at Windsor, also benefiting from acting before the runner-up, leading 1f out and affording to edge left for driving.
