had plenty in her favour, a C&D winner who's suited by fast ground, and she confirmed the promise of her last run, proving that she's in the form of her life with a clear personal best to land this valuable prize; held up, headway under pressure 2f out, led approaching last ½f and stormed clear; a significant hike in the weights beckons but she's tough and consistent and might even be able to hold her own in fillies' listed events if reproducing this useful effort.

was up 7 lb and into a more competitive race than that she won here 3 weeks ago, averagely treated at best now, but she's still in form and gave her running in a race in which plenty didn't; chased leaders, travelled well, upsides entering final 1f, one paced as winner stormed clear.

had plenty on from out of the handicap, albeit with a 7-lb claimer on board, but he's running consistently well and grabbed a place; never far away, led entering final 1f, headed approaching last ½f, one paced; he can probably still win off his correct mark.

A big pot for the final of the newly-formed Windsor Sprint Series but it wasn't a particularly strong race for the money, especially as several failed to fire on the night, not Stellarta though who is clearly thriving and came through strongly from off a good gallop set by Foxtrot Knight.

STELLARTA had plenty in her favour, a C&D winner who's suited by fast ground, and she confirmed the promise of her last run, proving that she's in the form of her life with a clear personal best to land this valuable prize; held up, headway under pressure 2f out, led approaching last ½f and stormed clear; a significant hike in the weights beckons but she's tough and consistent and might even be able to hold her own in fillies' listed events if reproducing this useful effort.

PRETTY BUBBLES was up 7 lb and into a more competitive race than that she won here 3 weeks ago, averagely treated at best now, but she's still in form and gave her running in a race in which plenty didn't; chased leaders, travelled well, upsides entering final 1f, one paced as winner stormed clear.

ICE AGE (IRE) had plenty on from out of the handicap, albeit with a 7-lb claimer on board, but he's running consistently well and grabbed a place; never far away, led entering final 1f, headed approaching last ½f, one paced; he can probably still win off his correct mark.

COOL BAHAMIAN (IRE) ran one of his better races, revitalised by a change of headgear perhaps, but he's hard to catch right and is far from certain to be in the same form next time; dwelt, raced off the pace, headway under pressure 2f out, kept on.

GORING (GER) ran respectably on ground that was perhaps firmer than ideal, certainly over this trip; held up, headway over 1f out, not quicken inside final 1f.

ROSIE'S PREMIERE (IRE) wasn't disgraced, doing her best work at the finish from off the pace, but she didn't really travel and took time to knuckle down (hung left over 1f out), perhaps worth a try in some form of headgear.

FOXTROT KNIGHT ran below form but perhaps wasn't suited by a change of tactics, ridden quite aggressively; broke well, led until entering final 1f, no extra.

BLACK BESS wasn't disgraced, doing about as well as she could kept to 6f on firmish ground; mid-division, not quicken from 2f out, needs the emphasis less on speed; a return to softer ground and/or 7f will see her in a better light.

RIO RONALDO (IRE) probably remains in form but completely blew the start, losing all chance effectively, and although he made progress over 1f out he never actually landed a blow; his mark is fair but he is rather quirky.

FLOWERS ON VENUS (IRE) was without the headgear this time but again ran below form; close up, ridden halfway, weakened final 1f; he'd perhaps be of more interest back on all-weather after a short break (won on debut quite impressively at Wolverhampton).

YOUNG JOHN (IRE) was probably flattered by his win here in a messy race and has been well held both starts since; chased leaders, weakened 2f out.

FREE ZONE wasn't in the same form as last time; raced wide, mid-division, weakened 2f out.

CLEAR SPRING (IRE) shaped as if amiss; raced wide, chased leaders until 2f out, bumped over 1f out, folded tamely, eased off.

SYDNEY RUFFDIAMOND ran no sort of race in first-time blinkers, is proving more miss than hit; prominent, lost place 2f out, downed tools; has a suspect attitude.
