was third in a more competitive race than this at Haydock 4 days earlier and justified strong market support to take advantaged of his reduced mark this time; chased leaders, pushed along halfway, led over 1f out, found plenty; it was this same time last year that he gained the first leg of a hat-trick of wins and he's one to be interested in again next time.

A lot of these appear to be in the grip of the handicapper, either that or they just didn't fire on the day, and it doesn't appeal as strong form generally for all that the first 2 are ones that have slipped in the weights.

ANONYMOUS JOHN (IRE) was third in a more competitive race than this at Haydock 4 days earlier and justified strong market support to take advantaged of his reduced mark this time; chased leaders, pushed along halfway, led over 1f out, found plenty; it was this same time last year that he gained the first leg of a hat-trick of wins and he's one to be interested in again next time.
