landed the hat-trick nearly 2 years on from his first win, clearly not the easiest to train (off another 10 months), but it's to be hoped that he can get a run at his racing this term, clearly a potentially very smart horse, cosily reeling in one who'd jumped superbly and had the advantage of the 4-y-o allowance, showing lots of speed considering he'd won over 25f over hurdles when last seen; in touch, travelled well, shaken up after 2 out, stayed on to lead close home, had bit in hand; he's an exciting prospect and is worth upping in grade sooner rather than later.

fitter for reappearance over hurdles, looked in superb shape and went with plenty of encouragement on chasing debut, not the biggest but athletic and relishing the first experience of fences, his jumping already looking a big asset; disputed lead, jumped superbly, jumped on 4 out, pressed on entering straight, pushed along after 2 out, caught close home; well capable of going one better in something similar next time.

after 8 weeks off, went backwards from chasing bow, perhaps paying somewhat for mixing it with the second down the back; disputed lead, lost momentum 4 out, dropped away entering straight.

Stratagem relished the switch to fences, had the 4-y-o allowance and got the ideal ride for this track yet was still readily beaten by Phoenix Way, who looks a potential star.
