is having a cracking season and improved again to win for the third time in his last 4 starts, relishing the testing conditions; pressed leader, led eighth, pressed on after 3 out, tackled from 2 out, battled well, showing a fine attitude and suited by the emphasis on stamina; he's most genuine.

was out of mares' company for the first time in a while and produced a career best to go close, held off only by another that's having a progressive campaign; raced off the pace, ridden seventh, good progress after 4 out, close up 2 out, switched approaching last, stuck to task, pulled clear of remainder; she's consistent and will continue to give a good account.

Less than half of the 13 that lined up completed and only the pair that finished well clear actually gave their running, so this isn't form with depth, but at least both The Boss's Dream and Tambura are generally progressive; they went a sound pace on testing ground and some of them simply didn't handle the stamina-sapping conditions.

THE BOSS'S DREAM (IRE) is having a cracking season and improved again to win for the third time in his last 4 starts, relishing the testing conditions; pressed leader, led eighth, pressed on after 3 out, tackled from 2 out, battled well, showing a fine attitude and suited by the emphasis on stamina; he's most genuine.

SYBARITE (FR) finished placed but looked typically hard work and was well below his best form; in rear, raced indolently, behind sixth, merely passed beaten horses; he's not one to be interested in.

DAN EMMETT (USA) has run well over this C&D before but on less testing ground and shaped like a non-stayer in a race that turned into a complete slog; mid-division, travelled better than most, headway eighth, weakened after 3 out.

BATTLE DUST (IRE) disappointed under similar conditions to when second here on New Year's Eve; prominent, ridden after seventh, lost place before 3 out.

EARCOMESTHEDREAM (IRE) ran no sort of race, seemingly turning it in; chased leaders, raced indolently, lost place after third, tailed off sixth.

AN POC AR BUILE (IRE) might have needed run on first outing since leaving Fergal O'Brien after 7 months off; tracked pace, lost touch before 3 out, tiring when pulled up before 2 out.

AUVERGNAT (FR) back over hurdles and in first-time tongue strap after 7 weeks off, found the test too much; mid-division, tracked pace sixth, lost place eighth, behind when pulled up next; best up to 3m.

HERBERT PARK (IRE) ran poorly in first-time blinkers; raced off the pace, crept closer sixth, lost place 4 out, soon done with, pulled up; something to prove at present.

PRINCESS TARA (IRE) after 8 weeks off, again ran below form; mid-division, off the bridle long way out, struggling badly early final circuit, pulled up before eighth.

TARA TAVEY (IRE) failed to come on for recent run and isn't one to be interested in; took little interest, pulled up before eighth.

VICE ET VERTU (FR) back over hurdles, ran poorly; led, headed eighth, lost touch next, pulled up before 2 out.
