a chasing type in appearance, made a winning start over fences in clear-cut fashion after 9 months off (had another breathing operation during absence), impressing with some sound jumping bar a couple of scruffy leaps when he had the race in the bag; prominent, upsides thirteenth, jumped on 4 out, went clear before 2 out, just kept up to work until eased near line; he went the wrong way from a successful debut over hurdles, but chasing has always appealed as more his game and he seems sure to progress and win more races in this sphere granted a clearer run at his racing (not made the track too often to date).

progressive over hurdles last season, was well backed and offered enough encouragement sent chasing after 10 months off to suggest he can improve when faced with even more of a stamina test, while going back the other way around can only help him, too; close up, jumped right, lost place when not fluent eighth, close up again 5 out, outpaced before 3 out, kept on again gradually approaching last, not knocked about.

A fairly interesting race of its type, the first 3 all chasing debutants likely to improve.

ITSEEMSLIKEIT a chasing type in appearance, made a winning start over fences in clear-cut fashion after 9 months off (had another breathing operation during absence), impressing with some sound jumping bar a couple of scruffy leaps when he had the race in the bag; prominent, upsides thirteenth, jumped on 4 out, went clear before 2 out, just kept up to work until eased near line; he went the wrong way from a successful debut over hurdles, but chasing has always appealed as more his game and he seems sure to progress and win more races in this sphere granted a clearer run at his racing (not made the track too often to date).

SKI LODGE (IRE) showed plenty to work on making his chasing debut back up in trip; in touch, mistake sixth, second when untidy again 3 out, left behind by winner before next; should improve.

SOLE SOLUTION (IRE) progressive over hurdles last season, was well backed and offered enough encouragement sent chasing after 10 months off to suggest he can improve when faced with even more of a stamina test, while going back the other way around can only help him, too; close up, jumped right, lost place when not fluent eighth, close up again 5 out, outpaced before 3 out, kept on again gradually approaching last, not knocked about.

BELLS OF PETERBORO (IRE) again ran below form back under a positive ride; led, not fluent eighth, joined thirteenth, ridden soon after next, faded approaching 3 out.

MADAKET has yet to convince as a chaser; in touch, mistake sixth, untidy again 5 out, reminder soon after, beaten before 2 out.

POPOVA (IRE) fared little better than on stable debut; raced off the pace, untidy ninth, struggling before 5 out.

AUTONOMOUS CLOUD (IRE) ran badly; raced off the pace, not fluent ninth, mistake thirteenth, lost touch soon after.
