was strong in the betting and barely needed to improve to resume winning ways in ready fashion after 6 months off, value for a bit extra; held up, travelled well, steady headway from 4 out, chased leader 3 out, led 2 out, asserted run-in, ridden out and always holding on despite being closed down again at finish; still relatively unexposed as a staying handicapper, he looks sure to remain of interest in the short term.

With all bar 1 of the runners returning from lengthy absences this is unlikely to prove strong handicap form, though the straightforward favourite was value for more than winning margin suggests and is clearly a stayer to view positively over the winter.

NO HASSLE HOFF (IRE) was strong in the betting and barely needed to improve to resume winning ways in ready fashion after 6 months off, value for a bit extra; held up, travelled well, steady headway from 4 out, chased leader 3 out, led 2 out, asserted run-in, ridden out and always holding on despite being closed down again at finish; still relatively unexposed as a staying handicapper, he looks sure to remain of interest in the short term.
