got off the mark for the season, holding a fitness edge over his 4 rivals and suited by the way things developed, picking off a pair that had forced a strong gallop; waited with, not fluent third, headway 3 out, shaken up home turn, led last, responded well; he's admirably consistent.

after 8 months off, couldn't repeat his win in the race last year, this a stronger renewal and not helped by forcing a strong gallop; made running, took keen hold, headed briefly early, pressed on 3 out, headed early in straight, weakening when mistake last.

lost her way somewhat last season and didn't offer a great deal of encouragement returning from 8 months off, hard ridden to take fourth from one that was only making up the numbers; in touch, not fluent 5 out, left behind from 4 out.

An up-to-scratch renewal of this listed contest, all bar the rank outsider capable of smart form on their day, Darasso putting his fitness edge to good use as he landed a 12th career success.

DARASSO (FR) got off the mark for the season, holding a fitness edge over his 4 rivals and suited by the way things developed, picking off a pair that had forced a strong gallop; waited with, not fluent third, headway 3 out, shaken up home turn, led last, responded well; he's admirably consistent.

ESCARIA TEN (FR) is normally in need of his reappearance and shaped well after 8 months off, having raced close to the strong pace; close up, led briefly before second, ridden home turn, led again before last, headed there, hung right run-in, pulled clear of rest.
