not only put in a clear round this time but was very clever when not on a stride at either of the last 2 fences and got back on the up as a result; tracked pace, travelled well, bit careful fourth, led approaching 2 out, about 2 lengths up and no more than shaken up when left clear last, kept up to work (likely to have won anyway); open to further improvement.

easy to back, was below form after 10 weeks off, fortunate to finish second and beaten a good bit further by the winner than when they were the second and third at Naas; mid-field, mistake first, in touch when mistake again 3 out, not quicken next, left second last, no impression on winner.

looked well at home in this company and was unlucky not to finish closer; mid-division, chased leaders 4 out, yet to be asked for effort when stumbled 2 out where she also took a hefty kicking from a faller, hampered last, no extra; it's no surprise from her physique/pedigree that she's taken well to chasing and she remains open to improvement.

back in a hood, looked set to post an improved performance when departing very late; dropped out, crept closer 5 out, closing when left second 2 out, keeping on about 2 lengths down but seemingly held when fell last.

showed again that he's still prone to the odd mistake having done quite well to get back into contention over a trip surely on the short side; mid-field, lost ground fifth, not fluent seventh, keeping on when clouted 2 out, his rider already struggling to stay on board when hampered by the faller a few strides after and knocked out of the saddle; he stayed 3m over hurdles and will be interesting back up at that trip - or even further - over fences, perhaps the sort to go well in the Irish National should his jumping stand up.

Plenty of late incident to quite a well-contested affair, though no doubt that Zero Ten was a winner on merit, his jumping standing up far better in the straight than that of his rivals.

ZERO TEN (IRE) not only put in a clear round this time but was very clever when not on a stride at either of the last 2 fences and got back on the up as a result; tracked pace, travelled well, bit careful fourth, led approaching 2 out, about 2 lengths up and no more than shaken up when left clear last, kept up to work (likely to have won anyway); open to further improvement.
