needed to find plenty of improvement in this company, but did just that to follow up his Limerick win, the return to a longer trip very much in his favour; held up, loomed up before home turn, challenged 2 out, edged right, stayed on well; a chaser on looks, he will stay 3m and is open to further improvement.

very easy to back after 3 months off, confirmed his stamina for this trip and would have finished a bit closer but for a late mistake/some interference; held up, good progress before home turn, effort when short of room 2 out, forced to switch, blundered last, stayed on again run-in; remains with potential.

A Grade 3 novice hurdle that has been won by some good horses in recent times, and it was 2 of the least-exposed ones that came to the fore; the pace seemed sound and the emphasis was on stamina.

FIVE O'CLOCK (FR) needed to find plenty of improvement in this company, but did just that to follow up his Limerick win, the return to a longer trip very much in his favour; held up, loomed up before home turn, challenged 2 out, edged right, stayed on well; a chaser on looks, he will stay 3m and is open to further improvement.

ASSEMBLE ran to a similar level to previously and looks all about stamina; mid-division, went prominent usual 4 out, effort 2 out, kept on; will stay 3m.

FRENCH DYNAMITE (FR) ran creditably in a much deeper event than the one he won here last time; made running, headed between last 2, no extra run-in.

DRURY (IRE) up in grade despite a disappointing effort last time, again ran poorly; mid-division, took strong hold, ridden before home turn, faded, not persevered with once held.

CAVALRY MASTER (IRE) ran no sort of race; held up, struggling badly early final circuit, pulled up long way out.

FEROCIOUS (IRE) who had beaten Five O'Clock in a maiden at Tramore in December, shaped as if amiss; prominent, driven early final circuit, stopped quickly.

HOME BY THE LEE (IRE) was in the process of running poorly when departing; chased leaders, blundered fourth, driven usual 4 out, behind when unseated rider 2 out.

THE LITTLE YANK (IRE) fell first.
