is proving a much better chaser than hurdler, now borderline smart, adding a Grade 2 win to last month's Cork (Grade 3) success, this a dominant performance; soon led, travelled strongly, occasionally jumped left but without making mistakes, clear before fourth, unchallenged; open to further improvement and will continue to be hard to beat in similar events.

went backwards from recent chasing bow but shaped better than the bare result, arguably shaping second best, paying the price for attempting to chase down the winner early on the final circuit; mid-division, went second sixth, lost place after 3 out, rallying when hit last; remains open to improvement over fences and sure to win more races, especially in events restricted to her own sex, though connections will no doubt be keen to avoid Camelia de Cotte.
