surely produced a career best as he went one better than on his previous start, paying a compliment to Lightentertainment in the process, the still longer trip maybe suiting for all he's not stoutly bred; prominent main group, headway after fifth, close up seventh, stayed on to lead approaching 2 out, drew clear.

seemingly had no problem with 4f longer trip, at least under conditions which placed the emphasis firmly on speed, beaten by the weight more than anything else; waited with, shaken up after 3 out, one paced straight.

looked well-in under penalty but the longer trip wasn't sure to be in her favour and, after just 4 days off, there was always a chance the run would come too soon also, almost certainly not in the same form here either way; dropped out, headway after sixth, shaken up 3 out, not quicken soon after.

With the favourite failing to fire, this wasn't a strong handicap for the grade, though the chances are Pure Style produced a career best in forging away from the second last, Houston Dynimo holding a clear lead for the most part prior to that.
