followed up from last time to bag another valuable prize, this a career best in fact, the emphasis on speed again playing to his strengths, his rider aware of the lack of pace and making an early manouevre accordingly; waited with, went prominent circuit out, quickened to lead against stand rail early in straight, in command entering final 1f; this will now force him into high-end handicaps on turf and he's unlikely to get the same scenario as the last twice.

shaped very well returned to a markedly longer trip, splitting a pair who'd raced close to the modest pace throughout, worth marking up considerably as a result; in rear, still plenty to do early in straight, headway when switched under 2f out, ran on, conceded first run; one to look out for, particularly when the emphasis is more on stamina, though it should be pointed out that he's still looking for his first win on turf.

A valuable and competitive affair that unfolded into something of a dash up the straight, though the placed horses still pulled clear, a likeable and prominently-ridden pair of last-time-out winners split by one who shaped with plenty of encouragement from the rear.

PRYDWEN (IRE) followed up from last time to bag another valuable prize, this a career best in fact, the emphasis on speed again playing to his strengths, his rider aware of the lack of pace and making an early manouevre accordingly; waited with, went prominent circuit out, quickened to lead against stand rail early in straight, in command entering final 1f; this will now force him into high-end handicaps on turf and he's unlikely to get the same scenario as the last twice.
